How to Backtest:

1.    Select Strategy from Strategy Hub

2.    Click "Backtest" button

3.    Configure Backtest Settings:

■     Historical period (1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 3 months)

■     Starting balance

■     Market conditions to test

4.    Click "Run Backtest"

Backtest Results Show:

■     Total Profit/Loss: How much the ai deriv bot  would have made

■     Win Rate: Percentage of winning trades

■     Total Trades: Number of trades executed

■     Drawdown: Maximum loss from peak

■     Sharpe Ratio: Risk-adjusted returns

■     Trade Distribution: Win/loss patterns

■     Equity Curve: Performance over time

Analyzing Results:

✅ Good Strategy Indicators:

■     Win rate above 55%

■     Consistent positive returns

■     Controlled drawdowns (<30%)

■     Smooth equity curve

❌ Warning Signs:

■     Win rate below 45%

■     Large sudden drawdowns

■     Erratic performance

■     Negative returns

Deploy Your Deriv Bot

Once you're satisfied with backtesting results, it's time to go live!

Deployment Steps:

1.    Final Review:

■     Confirm risk management settings

■     Verify market and contract type

■     Check stake amounts

■     Review entry/exit rules

2.    Choose Deployment Mode:

■     Demo Mode: Test with virtual money first (recommended)

■     Live Mode: Trade with real funds
